Graveside services for Opal Birdwell Shaw, of Minden will be held at 11:00am Friday April 11, 2008 at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Minden with the Rev. Haskell Lunsford and Rev. Jerry Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the Read Obituary

Frances and Jerry, I just found out about Opal this afternoon. I have been out of town for about 6 weeks for my brother who died of cancer March 29, 2008 and buried April 2, 2008. I loved Opal so very much and send you my condolences. She was a very precious lady. She was the first Auxilian I worked with.
