Just now I have learned that my Cousin Colleen has passed. I haven't heard from her in many years and often wondered what became of her. Her dad and my dad were brothers.
I am sorry that she has passed . Pattie Nagel Atchley, Greenwood, Arkansas.
To all of you who love Colleen and will miss her as much as I will.....She was an extraordinary person. Loyal and loving are the endearments that come to mind first. Beautiful and smart, she always had time for a friend.
Her love of animals was second to none. She tried to give me a dog one time that she found but he would not stay with me. I found him escaped from my fenced yard several times heading back in the direction of her home. For his safety, I took him back to her and Sport became her personal protector, loyal friend and companion for many years. He knew where he was supposed to be.
Below is my heartfelt tribute to not only her memory but to the friendship we shared.
