When Billy was 6 yrs old I moved in next door to the Reese family.
I have come to know and love each family member, and Nola and Gerald are already sorely missed. Nola was always so very generous with everything she had, always ready with something delicious. She is gone from our lives way too soon and will leave a big empty space in everyones heart that had the pleasure of knowing her. She won't be forgotten.##imported-begin##Lynn Loftin##imported-end##

Having had the pleasure of Nola as my neighbor for nearly 14 years I can tell you she will be sorely missed in so many ways.I will miss our talks at the fence, we shared so much there. She would call up and say I've got stew or some delicious dessert ready come over and get some of it.
........And did she ever love those grandkids!!!!!!!, never doubt it!##imported-begin##cindy wheeler##imported-end##

Nola and I have been buddies since my arrial at Longview for my first journeyman technician job in October of 1971. I was among the co-workers who were scared half-to-death when she first told us of her engagement to Gerald Reese and his ready-made family. "That will never work," we wanted to say. We didn't and it did, and we were all very happy for her. I figure she was a good wife and mom; I know she was a good friend. Charlotte and I will miss her.##imported-begin##Buck Horton##imported-end##

I just wanted to share with all of Nola's family just how much she will be missed. It has been such a blessing to know and work with her. My family moved away from Longview Gregg County Airport in 1991 to DFW Airport, but Nola was always in my thoughts. I pray for peace and comfort during this time for your entire family.##imported-begin##Craig & Kim Carrillo##imported-end##
