I'm so sorry about your Mom's passing, she was such a big part of my life growing up (Sunday School, Training Union and GA's) I have so many wonderful memories! It was also such a blessing to be able to reconnect with her when she lived in Henderson. I misread her obituary and thought visitation was here in Henderson. Coming back home after spending the day in Longview, my husband and I were surprised when we drove up at Radar Funeral Home here in Henderson only to find out it was in Longview! I'm sorry we missed her visitation, just know our thoughts and prayers are with you!

Paul, Robin, and Tommy and families, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of Aunt Mildred's passing. I have kind thoughts as a kid and coming over and she was always cooking or going to cook something for us and everything she cooked was great! She was always positive as she had her roots in Jesus Christ and she will be sorely missed. I love you all and may God bless each and everyone of you and give you peace and comfort.

My wife and I are truly sorry to hear this Robin. She is in a much happier place now and will be missed. I never met your mom and what I know of her, you shared on our fishing trips. From those stories I know she was an amazing woman and she loves you and her family very much. She raised a good son, man and friend. Prayers and thoughts for you and your family.

Paul, Robin. And Tommy, I have so many precious memories if your mom, and my friend Mildred. I can still see her teaching the children of Trinity Baptist Church. I can still hear her voice when she was teaching at WMU. I know for sure I will see her one day, because I know she is with Jesus. May God comfort your hearts and give you peace.

How do you put into words all we hold in our heads, hearts & spirits for the LIFETIME of love, devotion, courage & FAITH that such a Wonderful Woman of God, sooo sweetly instilled & invested in us all?! How very thankful we are to our Precious Lord & Savior, for finding us worthy to have been given 55 years with such an Amazing "Other Mother"!

I KNOW Mother & Daddy (her "Sister" Norma & "Brother Hoot" ;-) were rejoicing with open arms, at her arrival - along with "Mister Eddie", Uncle J.D. & the rest of "Nearest & Dearest" who've gone before!
