Dear Gayle, Den and family.

First our deepest condolences for your loss.

Mike was a great man and will certainly be missed on this earth. He was always smiling and would make you laugh as he shared the days events. I recall may visits with Mike during the annual fish fry for his company - he was the one always working and making the rounds to greet everyone. Terri & I also remember the dinner spent in Hawaii (RIMS) with Mike & Gayle overlooking the ocean - we laughed a lot that evening. Mike loved talking about his trips to Hawaii and he really wanted to figure out how to make the shrimp dish off the Giovanni White Shrimp truck on the North Shore - we never did figure out the secret recipe.

I was very fortunate to have worked with Mike and know him personally - I will miss him.

I was fortunate to meet Mike in the mid 90's, and being a Texas Tech grad, and having a love for football and acoustic music, we hit it off right away.

It was immediately clear that this man was 'walking the walk'. He was a perfect example of what a good Christian man should be. He will be missed on this planet.

Also Mike Murley invited me to my first NASCAR race, a memory that I will have forever.

The Murley family have been my neighbors for many, many years. Our children grew up together and I have many memories of when they were all youngsters. Tye and my son, Jeff, went to school together. Mike and Gayle have always meant so much to me and to all of us that live on Matt Drive. Mike will be loved and missed forever. Your neighbors will always be here if you need us! Den ... Your Dad was smiling at you today. Your words at the funeral were so perfect. Jeff sends his love and you know that I love all of you also.

I met Mike 8 years ago when I began working for H & H Claims Consultants. He was a great to work for and I always looked forward to when he came to Houston so that we could have lunch and visit. My prayers are with his family.
