Funeral services for Brad Mitchell, 56, of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Burial will be in Core Cemetery, Gray, Texas at 1 p.m. Saturday. He passed away Monday, December 10, 2007 in Longview.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Mitchell was born October 24, 1951 in Jefferson, Texas to John Robert Mitchell, Sr. and Genevia Estelle Davis Mitchell and had been a longtime resident of Longview. He was the assistant manager of Cash America in Longview. He was a graduate of Longview High School and attended Kilgore College. Mr. Mitchell was a former longtime member of the Jaycee?s and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Longview.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Estelle Mitchell and brother, John ?Corky? Mitchell.
Survivors include his father, John Mitchell, Sr. of Longview; children, Joshua and Rebecca of Texarkana; grandson, Kayleb; and brother, W. D. Mitchell of Longview.
