Brad Mitchell Funeral services for Brad Mitchell, 56, of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. Burial will be in Core Cemetery, Gray, Texas at 1 p.m. Saturday. He passed Read Obituary

I remeber calling Brad the day before Thanksgiving to wish him and Cyrus a good one. We talked for 15 minutes and if you knew Brad he loved to talk and could go on and on. His last words to me where take care of them kids and bring them up here to see us. And I said I will be there before Christmas so you can see us all. But God called him home before I could. To the Mitchell Family be strong and cherish every moment you have with one another and dont let a day pass without telling someone you care and that they are loved. And know that Brad was loved and that he touched many people. Also to his daughter and grandchild who he talked about whenever he had a chance take care of him cause Brad was proud to be a Grandpa. My prayers and thoughts go out to every and anyone whose lives Brad touched.

My sincere condolences to Brad's family. I have waited on Brad at Duke's Fish Shack for seven years, I cannot believe I will never see his smiling face again. I am so thankful that he came to eat last Saturday and that I was able to visit with him one last time. I am proud to have called him friend and will miss him dearly.
