Max Statman's Obituary
Max Statman was born in Dallas and graduated from Forest Avenue High School and Texas A&M. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and came to Longview as an Engineer with Texas Eastman. He was the President or Chairman of the Texas Eastman Camera Club, Friends of the Library, Longview Stamp Club, Congregation Temple EmanuEl, East Texas Chapter of the A.I.Ch.E., Longview Museum of the Arts and The Deep East Texas A&M Club. He also served on the boards of the Longview Symphony and Tyron Road Special Utility District.
He is survived by his wife, Jan;
Three children, Charles, Louis and Sherry, and a brother, Irving Statman.

Graveside services will be 2:30 pm on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Memory Park Cemetery with Rabbi Klaven officiating under direction of Rader Funeral Home.
