Maurice Daniel Hahn
Mrs. Maurice Hahn passed away at home Monday evening after a long battle with advanced osteoarthritis combined with Parkinsons Disease.
She was a resident of Longview for 43 years;Married for 63 years to the late Felix "Doc" Hahn and worked with him to found the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Longview.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathey Hahn-Holley; son-in-law, James Michael Holley. Three grandsons; Ronald, Christopher and Steven Stanford Nine great-grandchildren: Tesla Mendosa, Eddie, Ashley and Keilee Stanford; Christian, Destiny & Christopher McDonald of Bentonville, Arkansas; and Stephen and Alexis Stanford of Austin.
Niece Doris Roberts and nephew Kenneth Daniel and sister-in-law Margaret Daniel of Longview.
She opened her heart and home to many and her generous
hospitality and close relationships with her "adopted
family members" Lashaun Taylor and Jessica Roberts made her life richer.
Services will be held at Rader Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday September 4, 2008 with the Reverend Darrell Howaintz, Pastor of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church officiating. Family and friends are welcome to a Memory Sharing on Wednesday evening 4-8 pm. Graveside services will follow at White Cemetery.
