Maurice Daniel Hahn Mrs. Maurice Hahn passed away at home Monday evening after a long battle with advanced osteoarthritis combined with Parkinsons Disease. She was a resident of Longview for 43 years;Married for 63 years to the Read Obituary

I spent many an afternoon in "Doc" and Mrs. Hahn's kitchen drinking coffee and eating cookies and talking about our Savior, politics and any other thing that "Doc" decided we should talk about. Mrs. Hahn would let him start the conversation, but she would get the last word in.Blessed memories.

I was a friend of Cathey's in the early 1970's, and I got to know her mother at that time. She was a very lovely woman who cared deeply about her family. I want to express my deepest sympathy to Cathey and her family at this time of sorrow. Samuel Taylor Coleridge once wrote that a light reflected is a light bestowed. Truly Mrs. Hahn bestowed a great light to those around her, especially to her family. They will live on in its radiance.

I enjoyed knowing Mrs. Hahn when Cathey and I dated in 1971. Mrs. Hahn was always nice to me and I wish that I had gotten to know her better. Having lost both of my parents during the past year, I can relate somewhat to the pain of your loss. In time, that pain will fade and you will be left with strong, lasting memories of your beloved Mrs. Hahn.
