Mary Ann Zager's Obituary
Mary Ann Zager was born October 19, 1935, in Henderson, Texas, to Gladys and Dale Weaver. She touched numerous lives in her forty-five years of teaching public school. Here in the Longview ISD, she taught at Ware Elementary and Foster Middle School. Mary Ann was also a dedicated member of Alpha Delta Kappa, Beta Lambda chapter.
Mary Ann passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Savior on August 15, 2024. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Billy Zager, daughter Karen Caldwell and husband Jason; grandson Casey and his wife Ashton, and two great-grandsons, Louie and Benji; also, a sister-in-law one nephew and one niece as well as their families will hold her dear. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Wayne and Jim and stepfather Reese Garrison and great-grandson Hank Zager.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Traditions Health Hospice, 4362 US Hwy 259 N, Suite B, Longview, TX 75605.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Mobberly Baptist Church. A visitation will be held at Rader Funeral Home of Longview on Friday August 23, 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
