So sorry for your loss. I only met your mom once, Ginny, but remember how grateful and thrilled she was when l came to your house one Christmas and delivered a big tray of Christmas cookies. She was so genuinely interested in how I made each different cookie and wanted the recipes. I remember thinking that was so sweet of her.I'm sure she will be missed! Becky H.
Well Mary, my dear friend, words cannot express how much your friendship has meant to me all these years. I will never forget your smile and laughter. You were always ready to lift someone's spirit. We shared so many good times and laughed so hard at your retirement party from Hallsville. All the little kids knew Ms. Mary. She was the one who found all their little lost treasurers and especially their little ("diamond") rings. Mary was a big fan of "Mr. Bean" and you could hear her laughter all the way down the hall. Her family was her heart and she loved to tell us about what was going on in their lives because she knew we were interested. She was so proud of her "chicks." I have no doubt that Mary is laughing in heaven and getting things organized. Mary, save me a seat by you! Your life brought so much joy to many people and you will definitely be missed. I was blessed to have your friendship.

I am so very sad of the news of Mrs. Martin's passing. I had the privilege of knowing Mrs. Martin as a young student at Hallsville in the 70's and she watched my babies now 20 and almost 17 grow up picking her berries. I was lucky to get to visit with her this summer when I brought some students to the patch. I'm comforted to know that I will see her sweet smiling face in Heaven. God bless her dear husband and children, grandchildren, and all who loved her.
