Funeral services for Mary Jean Floyd, 50, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 23, 2011 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Brother GA. Stanfield officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Cemetery in U Read Obituary

I met Mary when she came to work at Union Hill as our Science/Chemistry teacher. I was fortunately the one chosen to introduce Mary to the faculty on that first day of school for teachers, which started our friendship. I admired her love and knowledge of the sciences and nature.
