Mary Kay Phillips Corlett's Obituary
Dr. Mary Kay Phillips Corlett
Dr. Mary Kay Phillips Corlett went to be with our Lord on August 14, 2015. She was born on December 13, 1962 in Garland, Texas.
Mary suffered many years from that which people do not want to speak of: mental illness. As a result, she chose to become a doctor in order to study the brain. She became a pediatric neuro-psychologist and dedicated her life to helping children. When she was no longer able to help children in that capacity, the loss was too much for her to bear.
Mary is survived by her mother, Sydney Ford of Longview, Texas, her father, Thomas Frank Corlett of Waco, Texas, her sisters and their families, Carmen Page and Von Vogel of Longview, Texas and Kelly Ford Miller and Jim Miller of Wylie, Texas, her nieces and their families, Holli Page Bennett and Ryan Bennett and Kandice Page Foster and Matthew Foster, her nephews, Zachary Thedford and Nicholas Thedford, and her great niece Ryan Rachelle Bennett. She is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles and loving friends.
She is preceded in death by her step-father Corky Ford. Visitation will be Saturday, August 22nd from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Rader Funeral Home.
