I remember as a child growing up in First Methodist Church watching the way Mrs. Collier cared for Cathy. It was my first lesson in accepting, caring for, and nurturing children with life-long struggles. I'll bet Mrs. Collier is busy in heaven today! The Lord has glorious work for her to do!

Getting to know Mary Ann through Bible Study classes is one of the blessings of our life. She instantly opened her heart and arms to us, always with a smile. There will be an empty place here on earth, but Heaven smiles broadly because of her precious presence.

I will always remember what a truly kind and gracious lady Mrs. Collier always was to me as a little girl spending the night at the Collier home. It was truly a pleasure to be a guest in her home and she always presented a warm smile. I think she was the kindest lady I have ever had the privilege of knowing. She was a wonderful mother and took excellent care of Cathy. I had the good fortune to take water Zumba with her and Joan and she was quite an inspiration.
