Renee and Lee, we are saddened by Mary's death; she and your dad were a huge part of our lives. As a newly-wed in Alice, Texas, in the 1960's, Mary took me under her wing and taught me lots of things. She was such a wonderful cook...her chocolate cake maybe was Ma Jackson's recipe is the ultimate and her hushpuppies and Pa Jackson's Mexican cornbread are classics that we love. I'm sorry I never got the recipe for the grilled cheese sandwiches. Mary was also such a bright person, great conversationist, and good friend. We are so sorry that you lost both of them at too young an age; may sweet memories give you comfort. We loved them both and you, too.##imported-begin##Martha Jo & John Whitt##imported-end##
We hope to make the services - if not we would like to keep in touch.

We are all so saddened by the loss of Mary. She was such a wonderful Christian lady! We will miss her loving smile along with her many kind acts of Christian compassion. However, I know she is rejoicing with C.J. in God's Kingdom! Truly wonderful people. God bless you all.
