Graveside services for Mary Bernadean Findley, 93, of Longview will be held a 3 PM Monday, July 31, 2006 at Memory Park Cemetery with Dr. Gregg Zackary officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview 1617 Judson Road.
Mrs. Findley was born on January 27, 1914 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Charles and Ethel McGrath. She passed away on July 26, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Findley loved her pets and frequently took in strays. She and her daughter enjoyed traveling together, and Mrs. Findley often drove 700 miles in one day to visit her daughter in Macon, GA. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed crochet. She made afghans for every member of the family. She was an office clerk for Good Shepherd Medical Center before retiring with over 20 years of dedicated service and attended Mobberly Baptist Church but was unable to attend in her last few years.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, and loving husband, L.T. Findley. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jim Alley of Macon, GA; two grandchildren, Dr. Kevin Sheahan, Cathy Morrison; seven great grandchildren, as well as a special friends & companion, Beverly Guest.
