I just learned with regret of Bernadine's passing. I have several fond memories of her, but especially her smiling face and her hearty laugh. I remember traveling with her and Ira to Denver where they put me on a train to go to Utah to work in a lumber camp. This was in 1947. I'm sure she was received with open arms at the Pearly Gates.
