Marty Donner
Funeral services for Marty Donner, 59, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at the LeTourneau University Assembly Building with Dr. Laney Johnson and Dr. Gregg Zackary officiating. Burial will be in Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 PM, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Marty went home to be with his Lord Thursday, July 3. Marty was born August 20, 1944 in Elmira, NY., and lived there until his move to Longview 35 years ago to attend LeTourneau University. He was an Associate Professor of Aviation Technology at LeTourneau University. Marty loved his Lord above anything else, and was a member of Mobberly Baptist Church where he was very involved in numerous activities, including Mobberly Praise Singers, Praise Orchestra, and sound and lighting. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Jeanne Donner of Longview; children, Sarah Donner and Daniel Donner and his wife Andi, all of Longview; Sisters, Charlotte Donner of Elmira, NY, and Diana Rackley of Rocky Mount, NC; brother and sister-in-law, David and Dushanka Donner of Millerton, PA; special beloved friends, Paul and Daisy Young and family of Tyler; numerous other relatives and friends.
