I loved having Martha and James as neighbors. Both were warm and welcoming and ready to help at a moment. She really loved her daughters and their families. I am sad that I will be unable to visit this year at Thanksgiving...something that I have done since moving to Houston.

Martha was a member of the Open Door Sunday school class at FUMC Marshall. She was always willing to participate in the discussions and share her experiences and questions. In our classes she would show her love for her daughters and their families and I hold them up in prayer as we all grieve the loss of Martha.
Martha was a member of Piecemakers Quilt Guild. Martha was an active member. She always came to meeting or sit and sews with a smile, offered praise and encouragement
and her quilting skills with other members. She was appreciated as a friend, also, and
always brightened your day with just her smile alone. I know I speak for all of our members when I say we have lost a valued friend,and she will be missed.

Martha is a friend I met at the Piecemaker's Quilt Guild. She offered encouragement,
guidance to all members. It was Martha who made me realize that I could be a quilter, and because of this I will always be grateful to her. We will miss her smile, and her
quiet way. There is a bond between quilters, and she will be missed, and remembered
often.
