Martha Gregory Mills Gregory's Obituary
Mrs. Martha Gregory of Longview, Texas passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 92.
Martha Nell (Mills) Gregory was born on December 13, 1932 in Jacksonville, Texas to Mark Allen and Lurline Mills. She graduated from Leveretts Chapel High School in 1951 before attending Kilgore College and earning her degree in education from the University of North Texas. Martha had a passion for teaching, and dedicated 39 years to educating young minds.
She married the love of her life, Dwain Gregory, in 1955. They had two children, Greg and Ann. In 1962, they moved to Longview, where they lived for the rest of their lives. Both earned Master’s degrees while teaching full time. Martha will be fondly remembered by the many students and colleagues she influenced during her 31 years at Spring Hill.
Martha is survived by her children, Greg (Cassie) Gregory of Longview and Ann (Brien) Crews of Benton, Arkansas; grandchildren, Ginger (Billy) Scriber, Breana Crews, and Nathan Crews; great-grandchildren, Julie, Sabrina, Jaden, and Kyser; and great-great-grandchildren, Remi and McKinley.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dwain Gregory; sister, Eloise Brandon; and her grandson, Jeremy.
Visitation will be held from 10-12AM on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview with a funeral service to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Martha’s life. The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at Hawkins Creek and Marshall Hospice for their dedicated care.
