My dad owned the grocery store in Spring Hill and we meet Dwain, Martha, Greg and Ann in 1963. They will always be a special family to me. This is especially true after Mrs. Gregory ( never could call he Martha) came into the store and wanted a chicken cut ( in those days you bought the whole chicken) in the normal pieces. It was the first chicken that I butchered and it was not easy to tell the legs from the wings and any other pieces. Dwain harassed me many times but Mrs. Gregory just smiled when she told my dad they had enjoyed the mystery chicken.
