Mark Ramirez's Obituary
With deepest sorrow, we announce that Mark David Ramirez, age 35, our most beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from complications of End Stage Renal Disease while in the hospital.
Mark was born on August 10, 1988, to Armando and Lauren Ramirez in Roosevelt UT. Mark lived his life in Tala, Jalisico, MX, Vernal UT and Longview TX.
Mark is preceded in Death by his mother, Lauren Deans Ramirez, Maternal Grandparents, Tom and Elva Douglas and Paternal Grandparents Dolores Ramirez and Soccorro Alvarado.
Mark worked for A1 Testing in Maeser UT for 11 years, servicing the Uintah Basin Oil Field as a Non-Destructive Testing Technician. Mark also worked for several years at both Arn’s Woodworks and Wal-Mart in Vernal UT. Mark formally retired from working in October of 2021.
Mark David Ramirez was an outdoorsman at heart, enjoying both the mountains and the ocean. He loved being outside, four wheeling, mudding, hunting, fishing and lately barbecuing. He was a man who enjoyed taking a hands-on approach to life. He was funny, a sweetheart, a great person, and witty. Once he felt comfortable around you, he brought life to the party. He always had a joke, and no one was a stranger to him and everyone was a victim of his terrorizing.
Mark David Ramirez is survived by his father, Armando and Maria Ramirez, Tala, Jalisco MX. Sisters, Tracy Ramirez and Richard Emhoolah, Longview TX, Rosalinda Ramirez and Leroy Cavazos, Desert Palm Springs CA, Mariana and Alex Ramirez-Acosta, Vernal UT., and a whole host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mark shared a special relationship with his “Brother” Cayden Ufford and Niece Stephanie Emhoolah. Both will forever cherish the time spent with Mark. Cayden will never forget the ‘mountain dune buggy incident’. Stephanie will always have the spontaneous park-side lunches.
The family would like to extend a very heartfelt Thank You to Christus Good Shepard Medical Center, Christus Trinity, Davita Dialysis, Doctors and Staff. We appreciate all of you.
A private family viewing will take place at Rader Funeral Home, of Longview TX, on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
Psalm 23 1-6
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Matthew 11 28-30
28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
