Rusty and Mary, and all the Russell Family:

Belinda and I were so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I know that it has been a difficult time for you all as the passing of a parent, at any age, leaves such an unfillable void. I share your tears and sadness as I know them well from the rescent loss my mom. I hope that you find some peace in knowing she is now free of any pain or illness suffered here on earth. These are so many memories we all share, and we go so far back there are many that are a little dusty now, but no less wonderful. Just treasure your memories of her and know that when you think of her that will also be a sign her spirit is with you. God will grant you comfort from your remembrances, and the memories of others, to remind you of how blessed you were to have a such a wonderful, dedicated, and selfless mother for so, so many years.

I remember when Debbie and Brenda were young you and I were their Camp Fire leaders. We had so much fun with the girls and we became friends. I worked with John for many years at the City of Longview. Marilyn was John's best friend and side kick. Whenever they were together they would always be smiling and telling tales about each other. They served a mean dish of freshly caught fish too. I have missed seeing John and Marilyn over the years and my thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. Your loss will be John's gain now that they are together again.

Marilyn and I worked together at First National Bank (later called Chase) when I was in high school and college. I appreciated Marilyn's smiling face and supportive nature towards students/part-timers. This was during the days that every check signature was verified, every bank statement was reviewed and initialed by a bank employee each and every month, and account information was handled by a real person, instead of a computer. We spent a lot of time together at that Customer Service table.
Marilyn was a lovely lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God Bless you with comfort and remind you of happy times with Marilyn.
