I took care of Cookie for years I was her home Nurse in Illinois .We had some good times .Taking care of her was never like work it was like going to visit a friend . I Cared for her dailey even if I didnt have to work I would go check on her, she was dear to my heart. I will never forget her. RIP COOKIE LOVE YOU ALWAYS . YOUR GAL REG.
Mike and Jim, So sorry and sad to hear of Cookie's death. I have many sweet memories of her and of course, y'all too. We have one of the paintings she did hanging in our bathroom and have had for years. Seeing it brings back so many times spent in your home. Cookie was loved and enjoyed by all of the Soape family, but Mom and Dad especially enjoyed her visits. We will be lifting you all up in prayer. It is a difficult time even if you know it is coming.

Cookie was always a dear person in our lives. She was always so kind to our family. I am so glad I was able to have her as part of my second family through Nancy. My thoughts and prayers for your family at this time.
Mike, it was a pleasure to meet you and your mom at Graceland. Your love and devotion to her was obvious and she was so blessed to have you in her life. Our Aunt Verlie passed 24 hours before Cookie and the caregivers lost two precious residents. I have wonderful memories of these two sweet ladies sitting in the kitchen enjoying their ice cream together. They were so fortunate to be in the care of the wonderful staff at Graceland where they were loved dearly and treated with such respect. Michael and I will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
Hello Mike, I am glad that you had these last years with your Mom. My Mother died in December and I know that this is a challenging time for you. We will be praying for you at Westminster Place.
