I was sorry to hear of Margie's passing; but at the same time I know she's arrived in her new home seeing old family members and old friends. Margie was fun to know and work with while she was the switchboard operator at the P.D. Those who knew her will never forget her. I know that words cannot help with your loss. However, Margie was a dear friend to my second mom Bonnie Hays who passed away about a year ago. Margie stayed with Bonnie for a month or so and we had several dinners together and many great conversations. She always had a story to tell. I remember Margie at Sears. My Mom Nancy Yates was personnel manager and I worked my first job there as a gift wrapper at Christmas. Margie was on the switch board and had bright red hair and such a great personality. She and Mom were good friends. Margie will be missed and remembered by all of us "Yates-es".
