Gordy,
I am so sorry to learn about your mom. There is no doubt that I have some of the most lasting and wonderful memories of both your parents. My dad, Cecil Wilson, and I were surprised to learn the news today. Had we realized it earlier, we would have been at the funeral. I guess Livelys, Suttons, and the couple from Marshall (that I do not remember the name) who spent time at Caddo together are waiting for daddy ! I have never known well or been close to you, but I sure loved your parents.

Kooter - Margene!!! What a fabulous woman she was. I cannot think of her without remembering her high-spirited way of entering a room and her almost constant smiling face! She loved everyone from her heart. She knew that I loved antiques & she gave me a beautiful art nouveau necklace that I do & will cherish forever. She was always so generous to her loved ones. I am so sorry, Gordy & Marceil for your loss, but I know that she is laughing and being her joyous self again with her family. I don't think I've ever known a more loving or selfless person. She was a true gem. I'm glad to think she's with mom and all the Staton women today. I Many prayers for your comfort and assurance that you will be together again!
