John and I are so sorry to hear about Margaret. She was always so kind and friendly whenever we saw her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.

I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. and Mrs. Jordan. They hosted a dinner party for Jim and me in their home when we married 35 years ago. We were neighbors in Longview Heights and all went to First Baptist together. She supported me in all my mission trip fundraisers, choir and school activities and then as a married young adult was a mentor and model for a perfect marriage. Gene is like my brother, so Margaret was like my mother. She was greeted in Heaven by a heavenly host of angels and of course my mother, Billie Dortch, who loved her so. What a celebration of a wonderfully blessed life who always shared her blessing with others.
Love,
Vicki Dortch Jones

Did not know your mother, but I just know she was a loving and caring
person, just from this beautiful photo of her.
