Graveside services for Margaret P. Jones, age 88 of Henderson, will be held Monday October 1, 2018 at 2:00pm Rusk County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12noon until 1:30 at the Funeral Home before the service. Margaret Read Obituary
Margaret and I worked at Henderson Daily News together in the mid 1980's. Her mother, Mrs. Carter, lived across the cattle guard and down the road from my grandparents, the Alewine's. My grandmother always told us not to go down to Mrs. Carter's house and bother her, well we could not get there fast enough! So, I feel like I have known Margaret all my life. Margaret was my HDN advertising rep for several years. Always eager to please and so helpful. I was in and out of the building for different things, and we often had a good visit. IF she were in the office, not on deadline, not on phone, not with another client, not totally tied up, which was the case most of the time. I'm glad we became friends.
