A celebration of Clark Sexton's life will be held Thursday, September 25th at 10 AM at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Longview, Texas, where he was an active member and served as Minister of Outreach. Interment will be in Rosewo Read Obituary

When I was younger my single mom of 3 was alone with my great grandmother he helped us once by getting a turkey or something small for thanksgiving and seeing him at church always made my siblings and I happy but I got to meet his great grandmother-daughter and it brought memories That helped me be more closer to jesus

I was in my 20 something went to the Longview Baptist Temple then ,I went to their home when they lived out in the country ,there was several people who I knew out there, they were so kind to me and everyone they had in their home.
I would come from time to time to see Maryland Saxton did not know him too well but always polite and kind ,that is who he was

I got to know and love Brother Clark when I actually took his place on staff at Woodland Hills Baptist in Longview. His love for his family, his friends, and his church was only surpassed by his love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus. Despite his health problems I never went more than a few weeks without a call from him checking to see if I was all right. Of course it might have been because of the Hershey’s bars I snuck past Marilyn when I dropped by to visit. I miss him already. Can’t wait for the reunion.

I lost track of Clark several years ago. I regret this so much. He was such a good man, great friend and great man of God. What I am not sure that he would
have known what happened either, but we became disconnected over time. I just recently thought of Clark and wondered how he was, but now I realize that it was his spirit letting me know that he was with our Father in heaven. Rest in peace my dear friend.
