Mae Bell Barton's Obituary
Funeral services for Mae Bell Barton, 93, of Tyler, formerly of Longview, will be 3PM Wednesday, December 7, at Calvary Baptist Church, Longview, with Reverends Richard Jones and Steve Ditmore officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park, Longview. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Calvary Baptist Church. Rader Funeral Home, Longview, in charge of services.
Mrs. Barton went to be with her Lord and Savoir December 4 at Tyler, Texas.
A native of Lamar County, Texas, she was born April 26, 1918. Mrs. Barton was a homemaker and for a short period of time worked at Pine Tree ISD cafeteria. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Mae was preceded in death by her husband Calvin, grandson Stephen Morris, brother Shelton Ward and sister Marie Dobbs. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Morris Barton and wife Theresa of Kilgore, daughters: Mary Lou Farmer and husband Charles of Tyler, Janice Gooding and husband Bobbie of Clarksville, Jean White and husband Troy of Longview, Cathy Bailey and husband Larry of Longview and Anna Morris and husband Lloyd of Lake Jackson, TX, sisters: Ruth Franks of Lubbock, Jane McCarty of Snider, TX and Joy Dockrey of Colorado City, TX, 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
