Bonnie Louise Gibbs Fountain
Louise was born June 2, 1930 to Charles Boyd Gibbs and Bonnie May Ramey Gibbs. She passed from this life on April 26th, 2023.
She met and married the love of her life, Henry Fountain, on July 26th, 1947. Born to them were two children, Don Franklin and Zona Denise.
She is preceded by her husband, Henry, and son, Don.
She worked for many years as a cafeteria manager for Henderson ISD. Later she retired from the school system as a home visiting aid. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. She was a woman of strong faith and in her last hours was concerned with the soul of a loved one. She was wise and often sought out by those in need of spiritual help.
Her grandchildren are Joe, Raven, Jon, Freddie, Logan, and Tanner. Her great-grandchildren are James, Jonathan, Rachel, Jacob, Aric, Keegan, and Hope. Her great-great-grandchildren are Kaden, Mia and Natalie. She has one grand-daughter-in-law, Ann Fountain, the wife of Joe.
She will be greatly loved and missed by her family and those who knew her. Donations may be made to the Rusk County Child Advocacy Center in her memory.
A graveside service for Mrs. Fountain will be held on Monday, May 1 at 10 am at Glenfawn Cemetery. A visitation will be held the night before at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson between 5 and 7 pm.
