Louise Bryan Richardson's Obituary
Funeral services for Louise Bryan Richardson, 88, of Henderson, will be held at
3:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Rader Funeral Chapel with Revs. Mike Simpson and Johnny Newton officiating. Burial will follow in Laneville Cemetery.
Mrs. Richardson died Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler.
She was born February 6, 1921, in Laneville to Eugene and Tweedy Canary Griffin Bryan.
Mrs. Richardson was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher, youth director, and choir member. She was a retired bookkeeper for A & P Grocery Company and she loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Horace C. Richardson; brother, Randol Bryan; son-in-law, Dwaine E. Williams; half-brothers, Gene Bryan and Clarence Red Bryan; half-sister, Gertie Wood.
Surviving are daughters; Wilma Fountain and husband James of Henderson, and Wanda Crisp and husband Charlie of Henderson; sister, Bessie Jo Melton of Houston; grandsons, Leon Burford and wife Sheri of Houston, Dennis Burford and wife Leesa of Magnolia, TX., Kenneth Crisp and wife Belinda of San Antonio; granddaughters, Ronda Stephens and husband Greg of Katy, Cheri Wilson and husband Preston of Alto, Tonya Barnes and husband Aaron of Minden, and Jennifer Ford and husband Chris of North Carolina; 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Leon Burford, Dennis Burford, Preston Wilson, Rowdy Wilson, Aaron Barnes, Morgan Barnes, Kodi Marks, and Jeffrey Stephens. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Crisp, Eddie Crisp, Gregory Stephens, Richard Stephens and Sgt. Chris Ford.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday.
If desired , memorials may be made to the Diabetis or Kidney Foundations.
