Funeral services for Louise Bryan Richardson, 88, of Henderson, will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Rader Funeral Chapel with Revs. Mike Simpson and Johnny Newton officiating. Burial will follow in Laneville Read Obituary

We are so sorry to hear that Louise has gone on.. We only found out today when talking to Charlie and Wanda.
Louise and Horace were very close friends of my Don Dad, Herman.. When we moved to Houston in the 1950's.. Horace and Louise were like family..a part of the East Texas Transplants all living in the same area of North Houston.
Louise was always a very gracious and loving person..as was Horace..who was one one of the first "real guitar pickers" I had ever known.."The Girls" as we called them, were very fortunate to have parents like Louise and Horace.
We will miss her wonderful smile and loving attitude..but we know she is very happy to be together with her Horace once again.

Dear Charlie and Wanda,

We are so sorry for your loss, she was a wonderful lady. We had many a peas shelled from her and then when she was at Healthsouth we had several really nice visits with her. Again sorry for your loss and if there is anything we can help with other than our prayers which is the easiest to do let us know we are in the book.

I am so sorry for your lose. "Momma Lou" was a very special lady and I loved going on trips with her. We always had a terrific time. I guess it was our last trip to Branson, we were visiting the College of the Ozarks, we were all so very tired because we had been shopping and walking a lot all day. We were down by the griss mill, so I took off my shoes and stepped into the cold water and before I knew it, everyone was in the water just laughing and having a great time. That same trip back in our hotel room, we had a mock wedding with her as the groom and Tammy Clark as the bride. It was hilarious. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard as I did on that trip. Thanks "Momma Lou" for all the memories.

Wanda, Wilma and families...The day I entered Louise's classroom after joining Emmanuel, Louise challenged me about who was the oldest, and we became fast friends. Her open smile and jocularity made me feel at home as nothing else could do. I loved her dearly. My birthday: 1-17-21 I was the older by 20 days, and she reminded me often. My prayers are with you. She is missed greatly.

I want to share with the Family and everyone that as my Grandmother Louise was one of the best people in my life. We always shared laughs about life situations or over a game of Domino's or Wahoo! Spending my summers with her and Granddaddy especially at the Lake house has numerous memories, too many to recount in one sitting. She treated my Wife wonderfully and never judged her. She thanked her for raising her Great Grandson Eddie and sticking it out with me through all the hard times. Belinda and I loved her dearly and will miss her even more. She was always a truly wonderful person and Grandmother. God be with her as she Joins Granddaddy in Heaven. "Watch out Marble players in Heaven, your opponents have just arrived". Grandma Rich was a wonderful person. She lived a full life and loved all around her. I will forever be grateful to her for accepting me as one of her own from the first day that I married her grandson. She never judged you. She may have disagreed with you and you knew it but she still supported and loved you no matter what. She was a grandmother to me when I did not have one in my own life. My life is blessed to have had the opportunity to call her Grandma and to have had her in my life.

I know she is in a much better place now and so happy to see GrandDaddy again. You will forever be missed Grandma and we love you so very much. Rest in Peace.
