Lola was a childhood friend. At 15/16 we were very adventurous. We loved to walk and explore different places. I remember walking the length of the V and coming up at the cemetery. We would often walk many miles up Richie Hwy. Lola was always open to new things. We spent many hours attempting to talk on her brother's CB radio. We did not know the jargon or what we were talking about, but we were able at least operate the machinery. Whenever we were able to obtain any money, usually by raking leaves, we spent it on 1 lb. bags of M&Ms and coke. We were in heaven. This level of decadence was not present in either of our households. Lola was a good friend and good sister. I had the honor of recontacting her over the past 8 years. It was like we never lost contact. Her humor and bright personality will leave an indelible mark on the memories of all that remember her. She was/is so much loved. God Speed Dear Friend.
