Funeral services for Lola Elizabeth Nixon will be held at 10 AM Friday, January 3, 2003 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with the Reverend Randy Hageman officiating. Burial will be at 2 PM Friday at Holly Springs Cemetery, Ben Wheeler, TX. She died Sunday, December 29, 2002, in Longview. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Lola was born January 28, 1958 in Muskogee, OK., and was raised in the Longview and Hallsville area. After she left her job in hotel management, which required a lot of travel and moving, she settled back in Longview 4 years ago and began a career in management with Sitel. She was a graduate of the University of North Texas, and received her MBA at Stephen F. Austin University. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Wayne Nixon and her brother, Kenneth Nixon. Survivors include her mother, Lola Emadel "Del" Nixon of Longview; and numerous friends and other family. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
