It is still so hard to realize you are gone. I think of you often. You will never be forgotten.##imported-begin##Sally Sallee Blalock##imported-end##

I miss both Lola, and her mother Emadel, who followed her to Heaven on January 15, but know that the smiles and laughter that made them both so delightful to know, has made Heaven even more beautiful.##imported-begin##Julie Spears##imported-end##
Loosing a friend of 25 years is like loosing a part of yourself. My buddy from University of North Texas has left quite an impression on me for all these years. My college years would not have been the same without her and I often think back to those days and all the fun we had together. All those classes, all that studying, and maybe a few of those parties. I will miss her terribly and there will always be a little place in my heart for her. There is not another person like her. I am again sadden at the passing of Lola's mom. Leslie, I wish you the best and my sympathy to her friends and family.##imported-begin##Tom Ware##imported-end##
I am so sorry for your loss. We all feel the loss. God is with her now.

Lola was one of the most cheerful people I ever met and I often looked forward to going in to work just to see her smile and hear that wonderful laugh she had. She was my teamlead and a great one at that. More than that I considered her a friend. Her memory will remain with so many of us. Words can't express the sorrow that comes in this. Yet her smile will always be there.##imported-begin##Daniel Stevens##imported-end##
Emadel, How my heart hurts! I was so shocked to hear about Lola. "Hearts speak when words cannot." While I don't know the perfect words to say or the exact thing to do to comfort you, I want you to know how sorry I am to hear of your loss. I'm sorry we didn't know, we would have been there with you on Friday. I love you and my prayers are with you. I was just talking to someone the other day about how fun cousins are... You and Lola would pass down her clothes and how I looked forward to that. Lola is also the one who peaked my interest in twirling. I remember the pink panther and I still have one of her batons she gave me. I know that was along time ago, however my fond memoires of our visits are very special to me. These memories are treasures time cannot erase.##imported-begin##Cindy DePanfilis-Himstedt##imported-end##
Mrs. Nixon:
I remember Lola as one of the true leaders I really looked up to when I was but a Freshman in the HHS band and she was a Junior. She was a wonderful person, just as you are, and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mrs. Nixon, You were my 5th grade teacher at Hallsville. We didn't even have lockers in the old Intermediate Bldg. We had plastic bins around the room. You were the best and inspired me to teach also. I've taught 4th and 5th grade for the past 13 years for Bobby Hunt at New Diana and loved it and the kids so much. Lola was one year ahead of me in school and was a dear friend. I played the flute and she played the drums. I still remember her big smile and contagious laughter just like yours! on Friday nights with her majorette uniform on. There was and never will be anyone quite like her. For reasons we don't understand, God has called her home and oh, what a beautiful place she is in! We can't even begin to imagine. We'll all meet again one day, and what a day it will be! All my love and prayers are with you. Cindy Davidson Keith##imported-begin##Cindy Davidson Keith##imported-end##
