So sorry to hear of Mrs. Schomerus' passing --and shocked as well as I would never have dreamed she was still alive. I grew up "across the creek" from her on W. 13th Ave. in Corsicana and remember what a kind Christian lady she was--would get to play with some of her granchildren sometimes back in the 1960's and remember she and my mother talking about their flowers in the spring.
