Funeral services for Lillian Kilpatrick, 87, of Hallsville, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the First Lutheran Church of Longview with Pastor Jeff Borgwardt officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Tuesday morning, August 31, 2010 in Hallsville. Private family burial will be in Hallsville Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kilpatrick was born March 8, 1923 in New York, New York and had been a resident of Hallsville since 1982. She was a retired office administrator for the Suffolk County Mental Health Clinic and a very active member of the First Lutheran Church of Longview. She was a member of the Piney Woods Quilters club.
Mrs. Kilpatrick was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Kilpatrick, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Michael Bayard of New York and Carol and Raymond Bird of Hallsville; grandchildren, Beth Langford and husband Rodney of Marshall, Amy Davis and husband John of Hallsville and Jed Bayard of New York; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Frank Klein of Florida; and sister, Agnes Morizzo also of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church, 3901 Bill Owens Pkwy, Longview, TX 75605 or to Beacon Hospice, 5016 Gilmer Rd., Longview, TX 75604.
