I will always remember Mrs. P for being honest. She always was upfront and told you the truth! She always had my utmost respect. I will never forget the "bloody bulls" after inventory was complete in Longview. I learned a lot about proper management from Mrs. P. I will always remember her. Lila was such an inspirational part of my life. Like a mother, she guided me into the retail world and nurtured my love for the fashion business. She and Pic treated me as their own child; protecting, encouraging, providing for me and always being there for me while growing up. She will be so missed and I hope she knew how much she was loved. Lila was like a second mother to me for so many years. She and Pick took Terry and me to California as a pre-teen and I'm sure we drove them crazy beyond words. However, many Christmas mornings Lila loved the craziness of Santa and our family. I have the pearls they gave me for high school graduation and wear them with pride and fondness often.
