I only knew Mr. Covey fof 5 days but grew so fond of him. He told me of his service to our country in WWII and his memories were crystal clear. He spoke of his love for his parents, his wife, children, and grandchildren. He will be missed but he is reaping his rewards in Heaven for a life well lived..Rest in peace my friend....
LEONARD ( THE CANDY MAN) WILL BE MISSED BY ALL THAT KNEW HIM AT THE LONGVIEW MALL. OUR THOUGHTS & PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY.
SUE & PAUL RUSSELL. REST IN PEACE LEONARD.

I met Leonard about two years ago walking at the Longview Mall. He was such a kind, sweet man. We were always happy to see each other. He always greeted me with a smile, little candies and from time to time a joke. I am 54 years old and he always called me "young lady" which I adored. I will miss him. But I will see him again one day in heaven and I bet he'll have a bright smile and a pocket full of little candies. Rest in peace Mr. Leonard. My prayers are with your family and friends.
