Laura Pelaia, Our beloved Wife, Mother and Sister passed away on May 16, 2017 at 11:18 pm. Laura was surrounded by her lifelong friend and devoted husband, Butch Pelaia, her beautiful and beloved children, Bethany Brooks Pelaia, Brittany Alyss Pelaia, Breanna Nicole Pelaia, Bryleigh Elizabeth Pelaia, long awaited son Bryson Bane Pelaia, honorary son and nephew Haven Gabriel Benson. Also present was her friend and doctor, Dr. Matei Socoteanu, spiritual covering and wonderful friends Pastor Marty and Julie Strait. Laura's passion in life was for everyone she met to know God the Father as she did and for each person to walk in freedom and the truth of who they are according to God's design. She is survived by Her father Thermon Winston Payne and wife Donna Payne, her mother Leta Sue Yates, Laura's loyal and deeply loved sister Susan Yvonne Payne, loving brothers Rick Payne, Jim Payne and Jay Shirts. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Pelaia family for their children's education and mission trips. They will be received at the family business, Divine Appointment Salon located at 1415 McCann Rd. 75601.
Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5-7 PM in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 AM Monday, May 22, 2017 at Mobberly Baptist Church with Pastor Marty Straight of Pathway Church officiating.
