Kent Ray Huckabee's Obituary
Graveside services and a celebration of the life of Kent Ray Huckabee, 47, of Gilmer, will be held at 10 AM Wednesday in the Rock Springs Cemetery in
Gladewater, TX, with Steve Johnson and Eddy Bowser officiating.
Interment will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery.
Kent was born July 27, 1959 in Longview, TX to Edward and Ruth Huckabee.
Mr. Huckabee served his country in the US Air Force from 1977 until 1981.
He was a carpenter employed by First Choice Construction, but above all he was a world class musician. Music was Kent?s life. May Kent?s music be now spread throughout eternity.
Surviving Kent is his loving wife, Jeanie, of Gilmer; son, Dustin Huckabee of Gilmer; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda & Jeff Cotton of Shreveport, LA., Debbie & Gary Green of Longview; parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law,
Pete & Ethlyn Breland of Longview; a number of nieces and nephews; numerous aunts and uncles and a host of close friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 from 6-8 PM.
