Jeanie, Dustin and family, for 40 years I called Kent a friend and even though he is no longer with us in body he will always be here in sprit, in our hearts. Words can not express the lose we feel or the sorrow we will deal with. There are just too many ways Kent touched us that they can not be written in this short space. We only knew Kent as a little boy, but what a fine man he had grown to be. We have fond memories of the entire family from when we were back door neighbors in the early 60's. Kent was a great guy, I enjoyed working with him at C&S, he always came in with a smile on his face, and something funny to say to get the day going. Just know that he will always be with you! The Shewmaker family would like to express our condolences during this time. I will always remember Kent as someone who loved family and loved life to the fullest. It was very much an honor to have the privledge to share the same stage with Kent in "Station Z". I still love to watch & listen to the originial songs that we wrote together. I only met Kent and his family once. It was a very memorable visit though. My cousin David who posted previously brought myself and my wife Tedde to their home and we were able to enjoy Kent playing his guitar for us. I found his family to be very friendly and gracious. Sooooo even though you may not remember me, I would like to say that sometimes in life, one meeting can stay with a person for a lifetime.....

So sorry for the loss of Kent i know what he ment to you he was you other half and all of us will miss him. I wanted to be there with you when my dad left but i still have school, but i promised i would be there i will pray for you and i will come see you when i learn to drive.
