Karry Choice Holt's Obituary
Karry Choice Holt was carried by Angels to be with the Lord, Wednesday August 19, 2015 at the age of 93. She is survived by her son, Nate Holt and her daughter-in-law, Nancy Holt; along with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Holt, and her daughter Kaaran Holt Copes. She was born in Kilgore TX August 26, 1921 to Earl and Mary Belle Choice and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church, Longview.
Karry obtained a Master degree from Stephen F. Austin University and was in the Alpha Chi Honor Society. She was a longtime teacher in the Longview school system, as well as the tennis coach for Longview High School at one time. She was voted best all-around girl athlete in Kilgore College in 1941. She was a many time tennis champion in high school and college. Karry enjoyed playing tennis, skating, fishing, and dancing.
Funeral services will be held at Rader Funeral Home in Longview Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 2 pm. Interment will follow services at Memory Park in Longview.
