My heart was sadden today when I learned of Karen's death. This was certainly unexpected to me. Since I'm visiting Laura it was impossible to be with you in person, but you were certainly in my prayers. Words can not express my love for you all especially at this time. I was so sorry to hear of Karen's death. I always remember her as the "glamorous teenager" when I was the "tag-along" little cousin. She was amazing and I wanted to be just like her.
