Last week when I was looking in a cookbook, Kandie came to mind. Our office at Eastman would make calls each week of the drive to remind United Way members of the meetings. Her sweet smiling face would show up several weeks later, arms loaded with her wonderful sweet potato/pumpkin breads that she cooked in coffee cans. Her generosity in small things showed up in large thing throughout her life. What a great lady.
