Judy Kay Rogers' Obituary
Judy Kay Rogers, 77, of Longview, Texas passed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. She was born October 14, 1945, in Elwood, Indiana. She graduated for Wendell L. Willkie High School in 1963 and Kilgore College in 1985.
Judy worked at Excello (Elwood, Indiana) and after moving to Longview, Texas she worked at Knox Lee Power Plant until retiring in 2012.
She attended Calvary Christian Tabernacle for over 40 years where she was actively involved in many ministries including Sunday School director.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Walter Duffey, a son, Bradford Rogers, and brother, Raymond Duffey.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Buddy Rogers, a son, Jeffrey (Chizuko) Rogers, granddaughters, Ashlee and Samantha Rogers. Her surviving siblings include Lois Hobson, Jerry Duffey, Paulette Duffey, and Cheryl Norris, as well as beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held at Calvary Christian Tabernacle in Longview on Saturday, March 4, 2023 with a time of visitation beginning at 1 PM.
