We will miss you so much. Your gentle kindness and the happy way that you went about your day no matter what you were doing.
You were an amazing woman and an even better mother and grandmother. We will never forget all the things that you taught us. We will never forget your unconditional love and support. You always did everything with a smile. That smile will forever be with us when we think about you. Your positive energy will be in our hearts forever. If we ever feel like we can’t go on we will think about you and how you used to say “ you can do anything if you set your mind to it “. You set the example in so many ways. Always willing to help. Always being supportive. Always loving, and most importantly, you always made sure to keep God first in your heart. You’ve set the standard for us to follow. We know that you will always be watching over us and guiding us. Helping us navigate through life.
We looked up the definition of what motherly characteristics were and you had them all and more. You were loving, kind, generous, respectful, organized, encouraging, forgiving, flexible, supportive, a great role model, and as proverbs 31:30 says, you feared the Lord. Everyday at 5am waking up to pray no matter what. Your devotion is unsurpassed and hearing your prayers every morning is something that will be dearly missed. However, knowing that right now you are in heaven brings joy and happiness to our hearts.
We will forever remember the fun we had staying up late playing board games. The way you would sing and dance around the room every time you won, which was more often than not. So that is how we imagine you know, dancing around celebrating. Some say life can be seen as a game. Well, in that regards you most certainly won again!
We can’t remember a single time that you got mad. Even when, for three years in a row, we splattered whip cream all over the kitchen with the blender while trying to make your favorite cherry cake, you never once got upset. You would just laugh it off and start over. Always having fun. Always having patience. Always being the best example.
Although you are no longer with us in this life you will live on in our memories. The love and support that you gave us throughout life will never be forgotten. Your strong, kind, and warm hearted nature we will always treasure. In your honor we plan to live the rest of our lives full of kindness and compassion just as you did. We are going to have to work on the dancing part though. We haven’t been able to copy your moves yet.
Seriously though, You will never be forgotten.
