A celebration of Life for Judy Henry Hurst, 77, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Grace Creek Church in Longview with Pastor Matt Benson officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Park. Mrs. Hurst passed aw Read Obituary
Mrs. Judy was my kindergarten teacher in Henderson in 1984-1985 and as my first teacher, always left a love for learning legacy and I will never forget her kindness and her telling me my baby brother had been born that November of 1984. I cannot wait to see her again on the other side of glory!
So many wonderful memories of Judy. I was blessed to part of a life group Bill and Judy were members of and learned so much from them both. Judy was the most caring and giving person, she showed me the meaning of what a true Christian woman should be. My most cherished memory is the day after my fiancé died Judy showed up at my house with 20 bags of groceries and preceded to unload and put them all away in my kitchen. She stayed and prayed with me and made sure everything was good with the kids. The peace of God came to me when she prayed and He never left me after that day.
I am rejoicing with her as she is no longer in earthly pain and enjoying her new body in heaven with Jesus.
My prayers go to all the Hurst family and may you experience the same peace of God Judy so freely shared with me that day so many years ago. Love you,

I've known and loved Mrs Judy for 13 yrs. She loved talking abt family, whether it was hers or yours. Was always a friend when one was needed. You are loved and will be greatly missed and forever etched in our hearts.
Anyone who was blessed to have Judy in their life knows what a wonderful Christian woman she was. Many lives were changed by her willingness to listen and follow what the Holy Spirit gave her to do.
Thank you Bill, Ab, Valerie and Clayton for sharing her with the world. She finished the race set before her and did it with joy.
